A woman who says she was among a number of children sexually abused by a senior member of a yoga cult in New South Wales in the early 1980s is urging the Royal Commission into the Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse to investigate the organisation. She says it’s crucial the commission doesn’t limit its inquiry to abuse in well-known organisations and investigates child abuse in so-called cults as well.
