For Stolen Generations survivors

There are redress options for some Stolen Generations survivors

knowmore acknowledges that many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have experienced intergenerational trauma from government child removal policies.

There are redress options for Stolen Generations survivors for a forcible removal in some states and territories. Some Stolen Generations survivors will not be eligible for redress under these options.

It is important that you get legal advice about the redress or compensation options that are relevant to you. knowmore can help you with this. We will work with you in a culturally safe and trauma-informed way. Read more about our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
