Unbelievable

1 in 4 Australians have experienced child sexual abuse.

What’s truly unbelievable isn’t the statistic — it’s the silence.

This Child Protection Week, host one conversation to break the silence surrounding childhood sexual abuse and raise vital funds so survivors have access to free legal advice and support today.

Where your donations will go

Helping young survivors find justice sooner

Your support will help Knowmore build a Youth Digital Justice Project — a safe, accessible pathway for young people seeking justice.

The challenge

For decades, survivors of child sexual abuse took an average of 23.9 years to disclose their experiences.
Today, a new generation is speaking out sooner — often online. But in doing so, many are exposed to legal risks, including defamation and privacy breaches that existing systems aren’t equipped to handle.

Our solution

We’re creating a “digital front door” — a secure, mobile-friendly service designed specifically for young people.

This service will:

  • Protect young survivors from legal risks
  • Provide access to free, specialist legal advice
  • Connect them with a dedicated Youth Worker for support

Why it matters

Every young person deserves a safe path to justice.
Because protecting children also means supporting the adults they become.
