Today knowmore celebrates one year of operation. To mark this occasion, we’ve developed a new service snapshot that shows our achievements and statistics from the year.
For an organisation that started with just one office in Sydney, we have grown to establish 4 offices nationally – in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
A major part of our service delivery, alongside the national freecall advice line, is outreach. We have travelled over much of Australia, visiting clients and conducting community education sessions, but there are many places still to visit, and our team of 31 client-facing staff work together to assist clients with their legal, emotional and cultural needs.
All of our clients have access to social work/counselling assistance, as well as culturally appropriate support from male and female Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officers.
